I love these chokers, in fact this whole range. These were designed in the 70's by Ketty Dalsgaard in Denmark. From research, I gather the material is nylon. They have the appearance of a slightly shiny plastic. See the butterfly brooches we have also listed.
The choker is a complete circle which comes apart to slip around the neck. See the photo. The width is approximately 0.3cm and the diameter is about 12cm across. This one is in navy blue. The piece is signed with a raised printing which reads KETTY DALSGAARD - DENMARK B & D.
