This is a stunner! I've had quite a few of these bags but never one like this one. It's larger than usual and has a lovely oriental tree design on both sides. The beading is mostly black with the tree design in gold. The beads are glass and the handle also is done in black beads. The top frame and clasp is made from a silvertone metal and the bag is lined in black satin. There is a little pocket inside, probably for a mirror. These bags were made in Hong Kong in the 60's I think and they usually have a label stating Made in Hong Kong, but this one doesn't.
It measures 24cm (9.5ins) across top, 29cm (11.5ins) approx across bottom, and the height is 15cm (6ins). The base is about 4.5cm (2ins) across. The handle is about 36cm (14ins) long. This lovely bag has been cared for and is in great shape.
